Sihem is a Lawyer by profession with an extensive experience working on ground with governmental institutions and civil society. Sihem served as local councilor at City of Ariana alongside being the founder and member of several associations and associations’ networks, ranging from being a representative observer member of the Tunisian civil society at meetings of Governors within the African Development Bank, Regional Coordinator of Tunisian coalition of transparency in the extractive industries and vice president of the coalition, she is also a member of the World Council of 'publish what you pay ", member of the steering comity OGP Tunisia, and chairman and member of the Board of Arab Watch Coalition for Just Development
