Dr. Mahmoud Abu Hussein holds a PhD in Agriculture and Agricultural Biotechnology. He has more than 15 years of experience in international cooperation and the management of research and development projects across diversity of sectors; agriculture, water, energy, and environment. He has extensive experience in education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, throughout his career, he developed numerous assessments and studies, prepared policy papers, and contributed to national and international strategies. Mahmoud has represented Jordan in several international programmes, including PRIMA and COST, additionally, served as Co-Chair of the Union for the Mediterranean’s Research and Innovation Platform.Â
